After years of being on the top,
You take a fall and the bubble pops.
You are not the same person,
Perhaps something shifted forging a new mission.
What was once so important,
Has now taken a back seat to something more significant.
Not everything is as it appears,
Let that be music to your ears.
Yes, just when we think everything is going great, the rug can be pulled out from under us. Thanks for revealing it in your poem. And for revealing that sometimes that sudden change will make our lives better, especially if we know that we will go after this original drama into a better part of our lives.
