Do not be surprised

 When we look ever so closely at one single living thing,

do not be surprised to see within its structure,

delicately orchestrated rhythms, assigned purposes,

flourishing outcomes, elegant beauty.   

And do not be surprised then to realize you are looking at

a fragment of life’s divine center,

understanding that all living things are a fragment

and have their own purpose in the entire organism of life.
