To meditate is not to think but to be. When we reach this freedom, are we not then everything that was, is and will ever be? including all of the joy as well as the pain? And what would joy really be without knowing of the pain?
I think it to be as the sun's life giving light and heat, without an earth for it to touch, a field not to be carressed by its love, humanity then never known to be. Even as we meditate into a blissful state, it is the realm of eternal law, the place we only travel to, of divinity.
But here in the physical dimension of time, as we stand in the light of the sun, always remenber as our nakedness is revealed from its sacred light, behind us dwells our shadow.
