Curiously

My emotions walked from my soul and passed through my heart,
only to be standing inside the freedom of a cloud.

Curiously, a shadow surrounded this place.

My emotions then fashioned cumulous wings and soared to the ends
of the sky.

Again a shadow could be seen as if my emotions were being followed.

My emotions breached the boundaries of the atmosphere,
and like a great ocean, they flooded the unseen corners of the eternal heavens.

And then I knew;
My emotions had curiously never left my heart and my soul.
