No one can
No one can say what devastation may be waiting on their path,
and when in confrontation of it,
to think of it as a surprise is an act of denial.
Life carries on just as does a caravan of searchers.
And what they seek waits for them,
and what they find can only be conquered by that which they have yet to learn.
