A leaf is to the tree, what the tree is to the forest, the forest is to the environment, the environment is to the ecosystem, the ecosystem is to the continent, and what the continent is to the earth.
Man's feelings are to his heart,
what the heart is to his emotions,
his emotions are to the soul, the soul is to humanity, humanity is to the forces of the universe, and what the forces of the universe are to God.
This is dot-to-dot in logic, but so centrifugal in interpretation. Ron sees a dichotomy, which is logical, in that man steps out of formation with our 'human manipulations.' But that circles it around to your "Man's feelings are to his heart," and "humanity is to the forces of the universe," Man is feeling disrupted at this point, disconnected from universe and so, to me, the weak link is "humanity is to the forces of the universe," but awareness is increasing among the 'too quiet' souls, who I believe are beginning to make a sound. This is a very succinct cosmic 'food chain' theory. ~~ Diana
I have very next feelings about this. The leaf and the ecosystem are in harmony with the earth. Man and his God are at war with the ecosystem and life itself.
