This is a monologue

Poem Artwork

What?

Oh... I geuss not sure exactly what I'm feeling right now.

Sometimes I feel like I came off God's assembly line flat out f***ed up, you know.

Like I was born missing certain important pieces other people just had. or something.I think about him alot.

It's funny but when I was younger I used to think that,in relationships, anything other than blind adoration was rejection.

Then slowly all the attention started to make me sick.

The pet names like "POOKY",countless FTD "HAVE A NICE DAY" bouquets and the CARDS...the greeting cards!Synthetic Hallmark moments, you know what I mean...

GOD, I HATE THOSE FUCKING THINGS!!!

You know what greeting cards are?

Ready made emotions for people incapable of simple self expression.

I say end it the first time you get one.

My favorite....."I'll love you F-O-R-E-V-E-R".

What is that?

Is forever a promise of a behavior or a feeling you never forget? Ultimately, which is more important? Someone who is WITH you forever OR someone who CHERISHES you forever?

Is it possible to have both? Are they even compatible? I mean, I've heard it dozens of times and here I am, single, paying you 150.00 an hour to find out IF I'm ACTUALLY loveable!

So, I don't know exactly how I feel right now.

But I do think life would be alot simpler if greeting cards came with an expiration date.

Interesting piece of work here...raw, in-your-face emotion blended with a subtle sadness...cynicism balanced by determination and hope...I am glad I had the chance to drop in here tonight and read this work of yours. I will be back to read you more as time permits.
This is good work.

Interesting...one would have to say that the superficial reality of life tends to bring one into the sanity of insanity, there is always a way to fing the wish of your concern...maybe within the forever of soon to be never...

Love and life go hand in hand, it just takes forever to find it's true meaning...

a nice work...your thoughts show depth of emotion and truth of reality...and I have yet to find those expiration dates....except on my credit cards and id's...lol...

enjoyed.....
