Last Dance  

Silhouettes dancing on the moon,
Of Lovers they once were,
The sun came calling much too soon,
Ending this dance for sure.

This poem applies to so many events/situations in life when I read it as a metaphor of things unfinished, interrupted.

Sometimes, the sun does come much too soon for a continuance of love, but I always find the first hints of morning to be so renewing and special that as long as I'm near my loved ones, I'm able to keep on dancing, even if in my memory.
