ONE word has allowed my heart to be free…
ONE is the word that put my mind at ease…
It’s this same word that has me thinking hard each night…
The same word that has left me tired... no longer putting up a fight.
By now I know you’re wondering, what this word could possibly be…
Well, I’m not going to tell you… simply because it’s for only ONE to see.

To all those untold mysteries that are now my past…
I owe to this ONE word… that has set me free at last…
It’s this constant reminder of a lock without a key…
ONE that holds my future… unlike anything ever seen.

But the key… that was once lost has now been found…
Has left me breathless and feeling so astound
This precious word is the candle to my flame…
Can unlock the mysteries to this mindless game…
ONE word has set my heart on fire…
Causing emotions so deep… For the one whom I admire.
I’ve been told many times… to step out of my comfort zone…
How could I have possibly known…
That ONE word would leave me feeling so all alone.
