She was such a beautiful lady
Innocent and sweet, so charming-
Her life was blissfully happy,
For a fairy tale love was soon blooming.
A wealthy prince she was to marry,
From a land far away from home.
So she had to leave her family,
And to his castle there to come.
They were wed in lavish grandeur
All the kingdom blessed the bond,
The match was her destiny for sure
And all was a bright future beyond.
One day the prince asked her to eat
A cake so nice she could not resist,
She took a bite and fell from her seat-
As she choked, her eyes filled with mist.
Now through her dull blurring eyesight,
She viewed her prince from clouded fog,
With breath now ebbing from her fright,
She saw that he really was a frog!
He fed her with moldy stale bread,
Laced with lots of sugary icing
Another frog he loved instead,
So he planned her demise and her dying.
For money has a cunning way,
Of blurring the way that one will take,
So this is what I have to say:
It can make stale bread look like cake.
She was a sweet, very sweet girl, he was a boy with two feet planted in solid ground (no big fortunes there to talk about) the young man wasn't a frog, but the sweet sweet girl became the one giving a poisonous apple to Snowhite.
