"A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct..." (Proverbs 10:23)

I had met these cruel tormentors
They were in my school at grade one,
There was no reason, just to score,
They picked on me when school was done.

My Mommy never knew about it,
For the fear I hid inside my head.
And after school I felt unfit,
When at home, slept under the bed.

The hidden torment unexplained,
A child could learn to wear his masks,
And it takes years to wash the stain
He hides them well and no one asks.

My former bullies now are mothers,
They too have fears for their children,
For what they did have backfired after,
Their children now are bullied men.

There is no pleasure one can find
In this perversity of bullying,
For a child can be so grossly unkind
To torment and vex with needless teasing.

I speak today for a child has died,
From this hidden torment of bullying-
It has destroyed the child's life inside
And lead him to decide its ending.

"The home is where it all starts"
His grieving mother sadly stated,
If we teach our children love in hearts
And teach the truth: everyone's accepted.
