Oh, to see this Earth through Armstrong's eyes: spheric sanctuary, floating whole, white wisp of heaven like a feather, touch of grace, imprint of God upon each soul.
In inhospitable deserts dry, held against my will within the bounds of littered lawns, political pawns, gravity's weight constricts, constrains and confounds.
Eyes of restless heart stare into space, blind to this new world spinning within where life abundant moves to the beat of hope, gone wild and out on a limb again.
beautiful work as always Dawn. To me this poem is like the wind that plays amongst the trees never knowing if it'g going to make them sing or not. When I'm in the mountains I always listen for the wind to sing in the pines, sometimes it does and others it doesn't.;-)
from space the world looks so tranquil, full of potential and the propects for hope abundant but as you ended this insightful poem with, hope is in a precarious state ...
This is a book of free verse poetry that addresses the seven main tests in life and offers some sensible solutions to passing those tests with minimal discomfort.
Love Tinka
I'm looking forward to it next time around.
Good work, Dawn. You've captured the wonder.
Imagine your poetry then!!

Hope is not enough,we need to pray...earnestly !
