I believed
I defeated the beast
and found myself at peace.

Freed from terror
self-inflicted,
freed from horror
I predicted
was beat for good.

And so I stood
tall and proud
with my head in a cloud
of denial.

Now, I’m back on trial.

i am reading a book called The Secret of True Happiness, Enjoy Today, Embrace tomorrow, by Joyce Meyer's. It says don't say Devil get away from me, just pray to God and your devils will leave. I do so like this poem though tells all. Sometimes it is hard to take the advice of someone like Joyce Meyers, but I used to say the devil is doing things to me too, now I think twice about it and say God I believe you the devil isn't getting to me. Good interesting write. **********
