Barking Spiders In Church

Those pesky barking spiders
followed me to church Sunday.
I tried to make them stay at home,
but they came anyway.

Then I did something naughty
'cause they were being bad ...
When people turned and looked at me,
... I pointed at my dad.

Oh, my goodness!!!!!!!!! LOL Bet the sermon you got afterwards......LOL This, CJ, is a hoot! Love your (wicked) sense of humor in engaging verse!

Reminds me of my Dad, he was good at pointing 'em anywhere but himself...he'd go "brrrrrrrrrrrp" and then blame one of us, including poor ol' Friday (the cat). He would never do anything like THAT!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. LOLOLOLOL!!

Good one...I am going to have to purchase this book for my students, you know how six year old children are, they would really love this. You can read a story if the word gas or underwear is mentioned they roll with laughter...yeah, I've made my mind up got to have this book. My husband would get a laugh from this poem, he did to me what the kid did to his dad once, only we were at a carpet store....talk about embarrasing. This is a keeper CJ...
Blessings,

Too funny, I can see how you can create a whole new book around this happy if often gross theme.
