Global Warming Warning

1.] There are no seasons on Venus,    It's always hot as hell!

            From the space probes we have sent there,

            It's about 850 degrees F. day and night (as far as we can tell!)

How hot is hell?  Well I’m not planning on going.

But it's a bit too hot for water sports,

And, there are no oceans, on that you can bet.

If we keep ignoring this global warming warning,

We'll be making the same kind of CO₂ Stew.

Of this world, with its runaway greenhouse effect,

We are about to get a little sneak preview.

2.] Want to tuck your kids into protective suits before they go off to school?

            Well in another 50 years that's what we'll be doing,

            Because global warming is definitely not cool.

"It's not just the heat, (which may only be a degree or two) -It's also the humidity, the rain no longer will be only H₂O, but also SO₂ with a pH of close to 4.2

So what will you do?   You could just sunbathe until your dead,

                                    ( cause the ozone will be gone too).

3.] Now I suggest you consider this fact:  A pH of 4.2 is like I took some coca-cola and soaked your teeth in it for a day or two.

Below 4.2, I might as well take vinegar and lemon juice,

and pour it all over you.

            (Speaking of rain, it's going to be feast or famine, depending on where you are when Nature gets a slight case of constipation.)

            (Or she is irritated enough to engage in some sharp mood swings!)

Meanwhile, on VENUS, the winds are always hurricane force,

But this is high in the “cooler” atmosphere.

At the boiling surface, everything's at rest.

On EARTH, it's just the opposite, hot at the top (in the stratosphere), colder below, (but not as cold as we now know).

And if you would like to step out for some fresh air?

Forget it! Not on Venus, baby! You'll choke and besides -

It'll blow or burn away everything including your underwear!

[Yea, I'll take good old oxygen over CO₂,

And acid rain (SO₂), just ain't like good'ol H₂O!]
