Bobbies' poem written in a Family Violence Shelter.

Saw you comin' down the hall........ for me. Heard you yellin' across the hall........ at me. Your walk of anger ....words of terror all were aimed at me. Felt your fists pound welts... all over me. Let your words tear at the heart... of me. Don't you love me? Sorry .... .....sorry.....I'll be a good boy..promise... Mommy~~~~? Daddy~~~~? Somebody??????? do ya' hear me........ do ya' hear me.........do ya'......

I feel so helpless just reading this. My teeth are clenched, and my head is shaking 'no.' Children are our gift from God, and should be treated kindly, gently and lovingly, not as portrayed in this poem.

Unbelieveable how cruel some people can be. The ones they should protect become the object of their frustration and anger. Like the way you styled this....
