Your Love Hasn't Lived Here For Quite a While Now

Have you ever had those kind that think that just because you loved them once you can't live without them? I was laughing so hard after this I almost lost my voice...freedom from an unhealthy relationship is awesome!!!! Sometimes you even wonder what you were thinking back then....life is beautiful and fun, I tell you! This you don't even call a temptation it is a comedy.

Out of the 'Royal' blue
came his phone call
breaking into my sleep
robbing me of my sweet dreams
I wonder why he still had my number

He was drawling
trying to sound sexy
saying things I could care less about
like how he was all naked in bed, thinking about me

You see, some people think
just because you loved them hard once
that you're doomed for the rest of your life
you're their slave, their prisoner

Little do they know that you
sometimes forget that they exist
and could care less about where and in what state
they were in, lying down naked, fully clothed or throwing up, ha!

For the man I have now,
Oh, how I thank God for the man in my life
No other man in the whole wide world comes close
No one compares to my Rick!

Yes it is funny, the love of my life or who I thought was the love of my life at one time before she did me wrong and then dumped me, who when I bumped into her after 15 years wanted to know if we could get back together even though she knew I was married. lol
I told her no I loved the woman I married when she dumped me.

It is really good that you left the unhealthy
relationship in the past, and that you are
happy with who you are with now. A lot of people
get stuck for long periods of time, or for life
