alone in LA

i've been to the experts
prepared for the worst
they say it is terminal
this time you won't heal

i remember last year
you were sick for a month
we thought you were cured
we thought you were healed

it's been 7 years
i hoped for longer
love at first sight
we are always together

you're just as beautiful
as the day we met
no one would know
you're bleeding to death

so many places we've been together
we traveled the west coast
from canada to mexico
inland to vegas
throughout arizona

i want to hold on
and not let you go
all of your buttons
i intimately know

how you responded
for my urge to go faster
with power of stallions
you laid my head back
and gently purred to my need
when i requested you slower

you know i can't handle
saying goodbye
and yes i am selfish
don't want to start over

but you've given your blessing
you knew this was coming
find one reliable that will keep you safe
you just can't be alone
living in la

so i'm shopping around
looking for new
some are too sexy
some are too slow

i am going to find
just the right fit
knowing i'll know it
and i will find it
