when you smile at me
i'm blind to the world
you are all i can see
that mischievous grin
that matches your eyes
can't help but wonder
what you're thinking now
smiles are contagious
in a wonder filled way
when i feel your smile
i'm smiling back too
i take your smile
throughout my day
on every elevator
and face i may see
moments of happy
that makes you feel joy
and they'll pass it on
to more girls and boys
see what you started
in simple expression
another step closer
creating some heaven
