just untangling my brain

Poem Artwork

the left corner revealed beads
floating capsules of
memory bits
nothing specific strung together
a shimmering image appeared
in the peripheral
disappearing as I focused upon it
my mind began narrating
an early life story
as if I was speaking to an audience
mind cobwebs to be swept away

I desire… to spark
a smug smirk upon my lips
the kind those enlightened wear
a gleeful aha moment

I adore…the sensation of
knowing contentment
the blissful existence
patient in revelation

the right sidelines
devoted themselves to
journeys and destinations
passing light upon the days
where shadows linger
instructions arrived in paradox
as ingenuous answered the discoveries
previous thresholds could not
somewhere in the middle field
a heartbeat kept time and pace
of this woman who was becoming
a stillness out of something

Don't untangle it too much, I love your brain - the way it works - right now! Such a cool world: part dream-induced, part right-part left, grammar on - grammar off, style of yours! I haven't read all the poets at AD, but you are onto something unique. Like the art too. If you have a moment: how did you do that pic?
Also I see you've dispensed with punctuation totally. It does force one to slow down in reading or else I "phrased" some of the lines wrong
Later again, michael

mind cobwebs, left and right - untangling, swept away -well expressed Debby, expectation, lightness in the poem, (reminds me of ambidextrous poems id write with left and right, tho' often clumsy/made me 8 xx:o)

Just wonderful the way you go through the thought process to envision things more clearly, almost like a cleansing...

Be always safe,

I felt like curling up alongside you immmersing myself in your disentanglement. I so love time alone and stillness to discover ones true self and whatever else is revealed! I love the way your lucid mind conveys these complesities! Kudo's, Debby!

Excellent, excellent contemplation; I relate to it; connect to it. I especially love the idea that a certain bliss sits patiently waiting to be brought forth in epiphanic moments. I love that the Universe sends its "instructions in paradox" - that inspired action leads us along our way. I love that "stillness" is an aspiration. Once again, I find our sisterhood in your words.

There seemed to be a lot of unentanglement needed here, LOL.
But anyway it is one fine piece.

Merry Christmas to you and family,

Walt

You can entangle your brain any way you wish...but why is here the picture of the Temptress Captain's Cabin above? because if I remenber correctly you wasn't "...this woman who was becoming a stillness..."
Then...another great poem from your quill.
