The world weeps when it sees its inhabitants fighting among themselves, and destroying each other when it knows full well that nothing that they do will change its spinning cycle. The sun is always going to rise from the east, and the rain is always going to fall. We should just accept each other's differences and live in this world like a big family.

Poem Artwork

In this war-torn time
nature weeps its loss of men
who do we ask now…

…of what men shall see
that becomes world's destiny?
The black crows shall cry!

…of what rain shall fall
that causes pavements be dirt?
Black smoke fills grey skies!

…of what sun shall shine
where there's no laughter be heard?
The death toll rises!

...of what flies are these
that crawl and suck dried blood cells?
Violated corpses!

They...unaware of
the unsympathetic sun
that shall rise again.

They...unaware of
how aimlessly of the rain
that must fall again.

They...unaware of
no matter how stink it is,
the world shall live on.

It spins its seasons
to human's own destruction.
The cruelty of it all.

Humans ignore mother earth and its kindness. Wars are fought because of human's greed for wealth and power, but unaware that they will all lose at the end. Mother earth is the only one who holds the key to our success, and it will spin its cycles no matter how many of the human kinds have died.

It must have been hard to write Haiku. These times on this earth are very unsettling . There is so much anguish and destruction The value if human life doesn't see m to matter and many are lost in the quagmire of it all. I pray things will change....M

IT SEEMS TO BE LIKE THE END IS VERY NEAR AND FRANKLY, I AM SO GLAD THAT AS A CHRISTIAN I HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO; A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH, WHERE ALL SUFFERING AND PAIN WILL END AND JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF WILL BE OUR LIGHT. THANKS FOR SHARING, SANDIE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Nature ignores mankind's foibles and continues on its path. Thank God the sun rises every day no matter what we do.

War is hell. Why we continue to fight one another uselessly is beyond reason. Your poem points that out clearly.

Writing multi-versed haiku is hard to do, but you've done an exceptional job of each verse flowing seamlessly and culminating in a good job.

Cheers,
Dan
