About how time flies so fast
Wasn't it yesterday? You were placed in my arms A tiny wrinkled turned up nose And wasn't it yesterday You were fighting with your friend in the yard? Wasn't it yesterday? You got on the bus for your first day of school? And wasn't it yesterday When you plead that you had to have a car? Wasn't it yesterday When you wore a cap and gown You made me so proud Wasn't yesterday when you wore a gown of white. But today, when they placed the new born child in my arms. Well done...life is a circle and time does pass so swiftly. I went to my granddaughters third birthday party today...I sat quietly pondering the thought of how swiftly time passes, it seems that only a few years ago I was going to my son's third birthday party, and all the other significant dates in their lives passed before my eyes. Stitches, broken bones, cheerleading, football, graduations, college, marriages, births...and life goes on. Reflecting back upon our children's lives reminds us to savor and enjoy every minute of of everyday....enjoyed this much our thoughts were in unison today...welcome to the den!
