Yes Mary the Lord forgave you the moment you asked Him to!
because He is faithful to His word, He said confess our sins
and we all sin Mary, He is faithful and just to forgive and to
cleanse us from all sin!

A very sobering reminder for us all Mary, thanks for sharing and
caring!

In the Bible He is a forging God. In real life He is our hope and inspiration for eternity. By the way, all twelve followers of Jesus sinned so much worse than you! Amen

honest and true verse Mary, here's my take on this, we all make mistakes and sin, so I always figure I'm going to forgive myself if God or no one else does. No use punching yourself in the eye mentally, cheers

Ah, yes. It's easier to push toothpaste back into the tube than it is to take back words uttered in haste. God forgives you, but what about the person who was hurt? Going to them is the really tough part. Well done, Mary.

to be able to admit and accept that you did wrong is the only thing that really matters. We all make mistakes for we are human and it is our nature but we have the ability to say those two important words..."I'm sorry" and I think the Lord would consider that penance enough.

I feel as if I know you ... even though we have never met in person.
From what I do know of you, you would never hurt someone intentionally -- even now you feel you did and the remorse that comes through is true. As the Lord says .... go and sin no more - you are already forgiven. Susan

We all sin; we all come short of the glory of God, as it says in the Word; however, if we repent of our sin, God will forgive us. Well penned, Mary; brava!

Untrue gossip unfortunately happens every day
But each of us knows who we are, or at least we should
We all say things in an angry moment, you aren't the first and you won't be the last

When we sin we are asked by God to repent. This you have done. Gossip has truly destroyed good peoples reputations from which they may never recover from this shadow cast by untrue gossip.

Oh Mary, I have no doubt that God forgave you the second you realized you had done something you didn't want to do.This is such an honest and poem filled with youe desire to follow Jesus. He see's the heart. Even when we think we have messed up. Which I do daily!
