It's hard time, but I think you'll be fine with a little bit of rebudgetting. However, I really don't like the change in the U.S. healthcare system. That is not right if the poor don't have any health care. It's different in Canada. The employers pay for the OHIP, and if you don't have a job, the government pays, which in my opinion, makes more sense because everyone gets sick at one time or another. Perhaps you and hubby should move to Canada. :o)

As much as I loathe living in Texas, I'm glad I don't live in Arizona ... sad! :( People just don't care anymore for the poor and needy ... I know: I'm one "of them". Two people, both disabled, living on one VA disability check; I can't get ON SSDI because in their eyes, I'm not disabled ENOUGH or their latest excuse, I didn't work enough hours. GRRR!!!!

Mary in these troubled politicak and economic hard times we should be able to use whatever it takes to vent our frustration. I like to think that those of us on AD have all experienced hardships in one form or another and being one of the old timers on here I have heard and seen plenty as well as also shared plenty of my own woes. You are not alone Mary...

You're right Mary -- no one promised us a rose garden. Try to shake the blues though -- they are really no good for you. You're not one to give up easily .... and I know you won't this time around.
