Certain Memories Define A Child In Many Ways That Are
Permanence Of How They Perceive Their World & The Safety Of It....

I Highly Recommend EMDR Therapy for ALL Trauma Victims.
Also Know that being victimized within any situation can be overcome!!
You no longer have to be a "victim" (less you choose to be)

You CAN Be a Survivor....healing wounds...

 Left Behind
 
 Chameleon of distillation
as a dusted panel lain…
From voices inner strength
the darkness will still remain…
 
A permanence of betrayals
left their mark upon a scar…
A wounded child suffers
beneath God’s brilliant star…
 
Who hears this born silence
from turmoil’s left behind?
A murderous echo lives
within the frontier of her mind…

Many childhood wounds never heal. One way to ease the pain is to cover the wounds with so many loving memories that there's no room left to live in the hurtful past.

I will have to try a brief stanza form like this tomorrow perhaps. This poem is mysterious, and I think one would perhaps get a different meaning than another from this poem, but in a good way.
