Satchel of Tin-Cupped Tea Lites

I lit 6 candles with a 9 inch match...

 Satchel of Tin Cupped Tea-Lites

 

I did receive her 6 by 9

tithing request in the mail,

to give an offering too help the

needy. She then sends me her free

audio sermon CD’s-without fail…

she wrote my name for me several times

too, expressing the importance of helping others,

or maybe it was her staff personnel. Either way it was

with a pen, and not a printing machine

 

But, anyway, I cleaned

out the dresser drawers, and

it was the Niagara postcards that

I threw away. They were in the blue dresser,

that cheap one I bought from Value City. It’s made

of press board. I will take a picture of it before I throw it

away too.

 

It’s nice to be able to let

things go, and to see and feel

and realize what I need…Over what

I don’t need. It’s the hoarder in me.

 

Now as for them

candles you mention,

some of them are sandalwood

scented. They are very pungent in

their perfumes. Even though they are

in a plastic freezer bag, they made the

3rd drawer down smell really nice. They

were just collecting dust for 6 years and 9 months

with that satchel of tin cupped tea-lites.

 

I lit a candle

the night before last

for Derecho, as you already know…

 

(did you see the shadow of the Pagan Goddess?)

I find this back and forth collaboration with Sage quite interesting not to mention damn fine writing.

I second Sage. Damned if I hadn't heard of a derecho either, and I studied statistics with meteorologists. You leave quite a story here about being scammed, giving up religion, stinky candles, and hoarding. I think I'll take your advice and check on that other satchel.

The name Derecho, is new to me so thank you for expanding my vocabulary. The poem makes its presence felt and I will think of it the next storm we have with gusting winds.

Twisters, hail and flooding Derecho landed and the white witch moth was drawn to the flame...you wrote a 6 on my back with a cinnamon stick and chanted 9 times "To Hell with the price of stamps I can lick it here..." I turned over and saw the shadow of the Pagan Goddess with a clove on her tongue spike me like a Christmas ham that needed eaten in tithing season...we listened to Three Doors Down Kryptonite...you know what you need...and you get it.

Gully washer & I want what's inside your other satchel, the one under the mattress...

Aww, Derecho. First time hearing that word when the big storm made its presence a few days ago. Hope the candle flame brought you luck with Derecho. I'm not a hoarder, except for certain items. I think it is the fact that I could never get my parents to tell me who my real parents were that cause me to feel that I am quite homeless wherever I am, and things don't attach themselves to me as they do other people. Enjoyed this poem. Very much, Vickie.
