As I watch you from a distance
Wanting a puzzle solved
Your eyes, your smile, the tilt of your head
Make me want to get involved
Am I curious enough to inquire
Am I bold enough to explore
Knowingly aware of my shyness
Realizing I need to know more
As I watch you from a distance
Wondering about your heart
Love appears to dwell within
A bright light upon the dark
Desires asleep within me
Awaken with your presence near
Unaware you are of this
Ashamedly I have fear
Are you with someone right now
Does she fulfill your every need
As I watch you from a distance
Sometimes I feel you watching me.
