Little dark faces on the TV, but what is going on inside?
Tear stained cheeks
Dirty little feet
Runny noses
And so much more
But in the end
Just babies
Eyes that have seen
So much pain
To much
For they live in a world
Surrounded by death
Surrounded by what they know best
Empty stomachs
Bombs bursting in air
Guns and soldiers
And men taking their parents away
Never to be seen again
If they are lucky
They never see what the soldiers
do to mommy and daddy
Endless days of children
Taking care of brothers and sisters
Never able to be a child again
This is the world they live in
Hunger
Pain
Longing to be a child again

Sad plight alright. Don't appear that it will ever end. They were doing this when I was a small child. I'm nearing death and they are still doing it.
