The lilliums bloomed profusely
Sending fragrance to the sky.
They did not see my tears as I cut them down.
Then they too began to die.
Just like my hopes, my future, and my dreams
Oh they were placed so lovingly in an array fit for praize
And many marvelled at their perfume that day
Now it became their last gift to the living
As the casket was wheeled away
And hidden from my tear soaked eyes.

The fragrance lingers, long after having been read -
"Lillium message" Sad and yet lovely presentation
Hearatfelt and touching indeed.
