Impatiently itching to go,
watching the clock on tip-toe;
casual and lax, sloppy and slow
can't speed up, money or no.

For a few days loyal and true --
sticking close just like glue.
After awhile, fickle and vain;
cool and distant then friends again.

Part of the pack, dressed the same
for a concert or arcade game;
acting grown-up on the outside
but still a child on the inside.
