The names have changed, but the feelings are the same...
What once were fragile buds buried in unturned soil was
Coaxed to flourish and produce the loveliest blossoms.
Only tools used were love, acceptance, understanding and
Patience.
Every little tear that fell strengthened them to struggle and
Grow.
Now it’s my tears that will be the final watering, and my
Struggle to harvest and send them forth to the beautiful
Panoramic view of the next horizon where the possibilities
Are infinite.
My bouquets, may they always spread their blossoms, their
Joy, their beauty.
As long as their minds are fertilised with hope and humour they will be fine. And if anybpody talks to you about "parenting" hit them with a big textbook and say "its about love, idiot." Well written.
I have no doubt that you have :-) This is a well spoken poem with a great deal of loving emotion in it. What you like to share is what we need more of in this world. Great write.
There will be a myriad of tears throughout the process of living and watching those creations grow from your nurturing heart and soul...but I am sure that those tears are not bittersweet for they are tears of joy
