My name is Tibro, and I am from the Nihplod Galaxy.
Many, many thousands of years ago, I was sent by my leader Suroh, to the planet Earth to scout out proper fields for a new civilization.
I brought back valuable information to Suroh where we could build. Before my comrades and I set out for Earth, we were all given a tiny Tajdu Eye (good luck charm) for our well-being and safe journey.
When we arrived, my mission was to cultivate Rhuts (amoebas), and pour them into the vast moving reflectors, while structures of magnificence were being built throughout the planet Earth.
We worked in an atmosphere of white-yellow, and obscure dusk with illumination to guide our footing.
Even with all of our sophisticated apparatus it was tiring. My comrades measured, and calculated, carried, and toiled, computed and judged.
The moving reflectors were a refreshing welcome to our cores after hauling mud and stones.
The technological development proved to be successful, until one group wanted to rotate with another group.
Tajdu Eyes were stolen because many wanted more protection from the hard labor. Tempers were short, and fighting broke out. Some were murdered and buried. When word got back to Suroh, we were summoned back for he didn't like discord among his followers.
Our mighty leader felt that with all of our knowledge, this place called Earth, was not the place he wanted to exist on. He wanted harmony, and Earth turned us into Ibos (Arrogant and superficial idiots).
We were instructed never to return to Earth, but we have visited and built in other galaxies.
No one knows what happened to the Rhuts. One theory is that they continued to mature until they took over the planet. They go on expeditions to uncover the mysterious erection of our structures, and it's contents.
Rumor has it that many defied Suroh and still visit and mingle among the now producing Rhuts to watch them struggle and study the habits of the technology we originated.
Our human genome is full of viruses similar to HIV-1. These have played an important role in human evolution and still play an important role in human embryology and day-to-day chemistry. Just how important are they to our evolution past and future?
The symbiotic pattern of evolution is everywhere and allows us a very different and fascinating window into the way symbiotic viruses work, since all viruses are symbiotic, including those involved in our human reproduction.
