men of that era feel that arnt able to show too much emotion, but your father sounds a wonderful man, full of pride and admiration for you.....and you sound proud of him too.

This is so beautiful! My grandfather was a very stern man, yet when it came to his grandchildren, he was a big teddy bear! Thank you for sharing this, and for reminding me how lucky I was to have him!:o)
