The next shoe was just inside the door.
Her purse, lying in the hallway, kept
him looking and searching for more.
He found her blouse in the living room.
Her skirt, he found right in front of the stair.
His eyes searched eagerly in the gloom
for the next clue she would share.
Her hose was in the upstairs hall,
Her panties were by their door.
In their bed, she lay wearing nothing at all
His clothes, soon thereafter, hit the floor.
