In the rightness of All that lingers near Beneath an avalanche Of ice and stone Feelings and love Lie seemingly dormant Naming the stillness home Finding peace in resistance Of all that's considered real The tingling of numbness Crawls through the veins An ushering warmly surreal Yet the shadows Can't conceal the light That melts the ice Washing away the stone Breathing new life Into the stillness Calling love back home Copyright.2007AngelaThompsonScott ��

Angela - Enjoy the imagery with which you composed this poem. I also liked the paradox of,

"Finding peace in resistance

Of all that's considered real"

and,

The tingling of numbness

Crawls through the veins

An ushering warmly surreal
