The dying words of a ship.

Fare thee well, John McCann who didn't know how to sail Hasta Luego, Joan Bertran who's stuck in a foreign jail Auf wiedersehen, Frau Heidi who had an elephant touch Arrividerci, signor Capaldi who liked his wine too much Adieu, Jean Claude, who was criminally insane Now I sail alone to God and He will be my captain.

I'll have to check all of these people, some of whom I don't know, but your little poem is really sweet in the way you have weaved these people into your quest for God.

I'm the captain of my soul. Never agreed with that old chestnut.
You're not sailing alone, not with Gods personal Spirit at the wheel.
Serene feel to this poem, a poem that starts off as rather macabre. Yet ends so powerfully. Or begins at the end!
