Why I send my photograph,
when you ask to draw a love graph.
Look straight into my eyes,
you can read the feelings of my heart.
my anger filled nose,asks you
to reply crystal clearly.
Anxious to hear from you are my ears.
The beauty of my lips,
symbolic of my shy filled face.
Look at the Hair playing on my forehead,
similar to the way you play to disturb me.
A long bindi with a dot at the end is incomplete.
The space left to be filled by you
as if a marriage dot.
I wore the redbordered yellow saree
to invite you to be my red and yellow
I hold the end in such a way
so that you be there till the end.

I am Prasanthi who wrote this poem. Yes. This poem actually involves Indian Culture, specifically telugu tradition. 'Red' and 'Yellow' are symbolism of 'wifehood'. The colour of Tilak (which Indian woman have on their forehead in between the eye brows) is red. Yellow is the colour of saree(traditional attire of Indian woman) symbolism of 'Prosperity'. 'The end' in the poem is the edge of pallu (a part of the saree). It is a sarcastic and a teasing phrase. Woman trying to tie husbands at the pallu.
This girl in the poem send her photograph to her lover. She is describing her pose(stature) in the photo.
