a place, that I first arrived
with my parents, and at their side.
A haven, blessed by nature's wand.

It's no wonder
this great author
picked this plot
at the foothills
of the Half Moon Valley--
its beauty fills
nature's alley.

Here I am at London's Pond
bird's churping on a gentle breeze
enjoying the shade of redwood trees.
Of this place, I am very fond.

Meandering ducks
and fishs' gills
swim the pond.
Algae rests
as rushes wrest
the shoreline's edge
and peace unfolds.

Here I am at London's Pond
writing as at other times
a place of inspiration for many rhymes.
Here and I, have a special bond.
