Disciplining myself--
that's a view
for sitting here pondering
until the words move,
reluctant to leave
until a poem is conceived.
That's what it is--discipline--
Making my mind dig deep
until it begins to spin
and words begin to seep
and then they ooze--
eventually leading to a poem.
Disciplining myself--
it is difficult to do--
conquering my own self.

I wish I didn't have so many things to write.. I had hundreds here and took them all away.. hundreds more on another site.. gone now... I need to discipline myself in another way...
I have "didseeplina"...i mean no discipline..lol
When ever something strikes me i write it down in my "blue book" and use it later when I start a new poem....then I use what ever line strikes me first....sometimes it has action......and sometimes it's just a thrilling thought.......thats why I post all my write under action/thriller
