I stand on the feable edge
of a murderous rush of life
in which I will hopelessly be swept.
There is no time to vedge.
I hang with a rope and a knife--
poised to cut the rope, be deft.
Soon, I will find myself falling
into a pit filled with much movement.
Swept on through the mulling crowd.

Very Good, had me on the edge with it as I read it!
