For once in my life
I feel as though
all the many aspects of my life
are coming together
at the place that I am.
This is something new for me
as aspects of my life
have always been distanced.
I've got nothing to hide
or cover up from others--
I am what I am
as the saying goes--
I have come to grips
with who I am.
I only see one creak
in my parque floor
and sooner or later
I'll have to deal
with that squeak
under my feet.
Even so
my world is more fluent
than it has ever been.
