shards of light
moon bouncing off
folds of fabric

the room is dark
shades of blue
midnight, brown

through the window
she looks as me
obscured by branches

up there lonely
here is no different
silent tears in the dark

i am sucked into dreams
dreams where he comes
rescues

but i awake lonely
he never comes
we are alike, the moon and i

changing
lonely
silent
