... without those i love, infinite is not a good thing...

a race to the edge of the world
things changing
people leaving
i do not leave you

things will stay the same
though they change
we will always have us
us is all we really need

painfully i watch my shadow
as it recedes into the sunset
knowing that this change is near
knowing that i lie to you

but i keep my distance
tell you that all is well
and i hope that you belive me
because i do not belive me

things are going downhill from here
and i do not tell the truth
away we will grow, and it pains my heart
i keep it to myself

this time we have now
the places we are, the things we feel
these are all real, all true
and we will remember these things

forever
and we will keep these things
in our hearts
forever
