It’s inside these limitless possibilities
that I taste the invisible waters of your soul.
Never drowning, only drinking from the fountain
of your deliverance…infinitely cascading.
There is a purpose bubbling underneath,
free-flowing within the watercolors of my veins.
Immortality has been awakened, the dawn realized.
It’s in this moment that I surrender to your will,
saturated in the undercurrents of your love.
I float upon the notion that I am yours,
completely yours.
You are the liquid that replenishes the very
essence of my desire.
I weep no more for past rejection
for I have found the reasons why.
So as the sea breeze moves me forward
I will never sail again,
the stormy past from whence I came.
While on the horizon lies my future
to where I find my solid ground.
We have evolved,
we’ve set our own sails
wherein we claim
our destiny.
Okay...now please be kind...you know I'm terrified of writing without my usual rythym and rhyme....and after my usual darker poems, thought I'd try something a bit more romantic...so please tell me what you think! :)

Beautiful... and your writing too has limitless possibilities. I love trying new styles of writing. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they don't work so well or freak people out (like my girlfriend LOL) but it's always great to experiment. Thanks for this! :)

I think you done GOOD. Melissa, this is absolutely beautiful. I could quote some lines that were just fabulous, but then, I'd have to put quotations around the entire poem
