Fertile world

Will we ever wake up and see what is real ?

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are a million starving children

 

Just in Africa alone

 

And yet through out our fertile world

 

Countless crops are grown

 

Out of sight, out of mind

 

We watch the plight of our shares

 

While countless weep in silence

 

Nourished, only by their prayers

G'day Tony, again wonderful writing hitting the nail on the head mate, what really gets under my skin is those who push this barrow(eg politicians)then sit at a fancy restaurant with a huge meal they cant eat & a great portion gets thrown out, they waste while children starve.
I enjoy your writing mate & will definately be reading more.
