Headin For Denver?                 

Doc Bonaiay was reading the morning paper at a Denver saloon.

When she saw an article on the Notorious Ed’s heading to Denver Soon.

She had to think quick for Wyatt was out of town, she was all alone.

She had no fear of the Ed’s, she smiled as the Clanton’s died and moaned.

Oh I admit that old Edvard will be challenge to recon with for sure.

But a case of Coors ought to do the trick, a sure fire cure.

But Pee Wee is a Teddy Bear with a tender spot for critters.

So he will be no problem, I’ll give him a kitten from my many litters.

But then there’s that Jersey fellow who I’ve dealt with many times.

He’s always been a problem, not sure if he’s in his right mind.

But when they get to Colorado I’ll have my guns blazin.

I’ll defeat the gang of Eds, while our cows are still grazin.

So Ed’s I’d think twice before you guys take on this Ole Doc.

For she’s a fightin fool and all your heads she’ll clock.
