While raging tides surround me
and steal my breath away.
His angels
come to love me
with people every day.
A storm of blessings comes my way.
As illness is about to rage
a multitude of blessings
surge a counter- storm
of such a gauge
sufficient to give grace, reform.
An unlikely ally who had no need
or any call to care.
has risen up from days
that are not our history
taking my hand till skies again turn fair.
Family and friends and people I never met
offer their prayers for me and I believe
that many voices raised together make prayer stronger yet.
So I feel comforted and warm amid the raging of my siege.
A storm of blessings comes my way.
My children show the best in them.
My pets still love scott free.
The difference now,
I think has been
it's with a new, more open heart I see.
There always have been storms
and droughts throughout our daily lives.
Free will is ours to lift or scorn
but Only He will choose
how and when who dies.
If my gratitude could only measure
what this storm means to me
oh, what a boat full
of merry pleasure
and praises that would be.
A storm of blessings comes my way.
My second chance will give me boat
and oars I've never used
and shield me from
the worst of those
storms of life renewed.
A storm of faith, hope and love
comes my miraculously way.
I surrender
to my Lord above
and share my joy this day.
A storm of blessings comes our way!
