You are magic
making me feel like Autumn
Your words so cool and tragic
as you recite them slowly to me
strong you are....embellishes words into stars
Ow.....you are magic
i really hope you know you are

tribute to You

Swollen
i am full inside
i try and hide
but the mist
it seeps through
alarming you
greedy already
you are
i know you have arisen
i can hear the change in your voice
our breaths have already joined
in union
our airs have already collided
i close my eyes
trying to clear my mind
but your airs travels already
twisting the curls on the back of my neck
lifting my pearl from beneath the sweat
yes i am perspiring
you know this already
you edge~ing toward me
pulstating
i feel as if i am going to burst
i never needed love so much
you can see the desire in my face
you won't look away
knowing i need you to look away
i feel the blood rushing to my face
i need you to look away
moving to turn my inside burn
and i am caught in suspension
you have answered my call
my plead
so far gone inside of me
that i don't remember
the shedding of clothes
i don't care who all now knows
i didn't think of the consequences to be
i only know you have answered my need
so full you are inside of me
opening all my possibilities
and i needed you so much
i quever from your touch
i am swollen
for all eternity
you traveling further inside of me
that i shout out and breathe
Ow......i love your poetry

you say you love the colors in me
making you think of down-home
cooking
i want to smile but i'm captured in your style
making me unable....child
i am counting the light
i am blinded
drowing
how
sweet
the
death
of
you
surrounding
your every word
(yes talk dirty to me)
each and every hit
splitting
parting
lips
(yes talk dirty to me)
i feel your wings
our bodies glistening
i can do nuthin'
but read
the verses your sighs been offering
and i think
God how i love your poetry

This is just FANTASTIC, Mitzi, and I sooooo connect with this. I am just thinking along exactly the same lines today, but will never be able to do justice to these thoughts that so mirror my own here. So many great images here: "Swollen I am full inside" - great beginning! "lifting my pearl from beneath the sweat"; "so far gone inside of me me that I don't remember the shedding of clothes": YES! YES! And I LOVE YOUR POETRY!! This has all the power and energy of "birthing" for me - ecstatic!! Straight into the library with this one.... TY Kate xx

A celestial forum formed by symbolists, surrealists, impressionists and realists would call Erato and tell her: “Your representative on Earth, Poet Mitzi Kay Jackson has delivered another ‘poetic child,’ which is making people think while they feel amazed with her gifts."

This poem, "Did I say I love your poetry?" I read, and I have learned the magic and felt the scent of a poetic Flower.

Long Healthy and Creative Life may be Yours, Sublime Poet!

The passion of the word laid so clear in thought and image, a written tribute followed by consumption, perfection, no limits, words spoken as felt, no barriers, no hesitation, riding a high, from start to finish, excellent write.. Walt
