No Colour In The Rain

Red is the colour of the rose .
Blue is the colour of the sky .
Warm is the touch of the sun .
I feel the wind softly passing by .
I hear the sound of a lawn mower shatter the silence again .
Brief is the fresh smell of just cut grass that lies there after the rain .
Evening falls and I take the time to talk about the day that’s been.
I remember things that happened and some of the things I’ve seen .
The colour of the world around me and the sun sets again .
But does anybody know why there is no colour in the rain ?
As each new morning comes I say good morning Lord as I go ,
For you have coloured my life with love and may that in me grow .

As I read this and thought about it - the answer to why there's no color to the rain is --- so you can see through it and the beauty of all that it touches.

So sensitively written and very inspirational too. The warmth of the colors bring out the beauty of this world, enjoyed...

Be safe,

Good question--that about the rain. Got me thinking. Is there color in clarity? Maybe it's so the rain will have room to absorb all the scents in all the land--swish them around in his droplet mouths, and ooze them out into the atmosphere. --Charlie
