We drove out the driveway and into the street .
We drove through the traffic in the city heat .
We drove from the city,
We drove to the sea, we drove past a mountainside my Dad and me .
We drove in the countryside over a hill ,we drove ever so fast and it was a thrill .
We drove to the edge of the border and then we drove through a river somewhere in a Glen .
We drove in the rain and we drove through the snow .
We drove over a bridge and saw the moon glow .
We drove for a week and we drove for a day .
We drove to the moon that’s very far away .

Lighthearted and fanciful - my description of this joyfilled poem. I like to read things that leave me heart feeling upbeat, and this one did just that. We all need a brief vacation from reality.
